Google Adsense with scrollable ads.

Google has started providing Adsense ads that are scrollable. If there are more ads that fit in the normal ad space and are related to the content of a page, scroll buttons will appear. Allowing your visitors to find more realted ads.

After I noticed the Overture (Yahoo!) Keyword Selector Tool hadn't been working for a week I decided to send them an email.

Use Blogger to Blog

As you can see SlowSEO doesn't use a ready made Blogging system. This is all custom made. I thought it would be better and easier to update and change, but I'm coming back from this.

Overture finally down

From my Keyword Selector Tool logs I can find that the last time Overture was up and running was: September 12, 2007, 10:51 am. After that no new data has been added to the SlowSEO database.

Unlinked sites recieve PageRank?

Recently I've found some reports of sites that have no backlinks at all recieving a PR of 2 (sometimes even 3). How can this be happening?

Many pages removed from Google Index

While checking my stats today I noticed a slight change in keywords used to find my pages. When checking Google I noticed my pages didn't show up any more.

Site update and SE click percentages

Today I've spend some time updating the Article section and adding some words to the Glossary. Also, I managed to squeeze in some time to write this article I've been thinking about for a while: Search Engine Click-through percentages

Overture Tool not updated!

As you might know it's May...
Something you might not know is that the Overture Keyword Selector Tool you may have been using is still showing January's search counts. This is probably another sign Yahoo is dropping the tool.

Outbound links can harm pagerank

I know this has been mentioned a thousand times but I'd like to add some more thoughts. I used one of my sites to plug an Adsense ready website I was promoting. After the new Pagerank update Google dropped my Pagerank. But, know the site I linked to has acquired a PR 3 status.
