ICRA

The ICRA, or Internet Content Rating Association, is a non profit organization dedicated to making the internet a safer place for children. They work internationally and the main focus of the organization is to provide a descriptive vocabulary (the ICRA questionnaire) which can be used to filter website on certain words. The ICRA doesn’t do the filtering, but only provides the list. The content providers filter and rate the websites and then provide this information to the parents who decide if their children may view the website.
