Also Google Adwords Keyword Tool fails
It seems to be a trend in Keyword Tool world to provide crapy services. A few days ago Overture dropped their Keyword Selector Tool service and now Google is also showing some flaws.
As of yesterday Google Adwords Keyword Tool stopped showing actual costs and ad positions. If you try and retrieve the Cost & Ad position estimates it just returns a list of dashes.
I think this is just some error in the system. And I'm sure Google is doing everything to correct this.
But, maybe they changed this system because Google is easy to extact data from using PHP and cURL. Possibly they haven't taken down the function, but just stopped showing results to prevent external sites from collecting their data for schemes like Adsense Arbitrage or Adsense optimized website builders.
But I'm probably being to pessimistic here as Googles Traffic Estimator is still showing these Costs and Ad position estimates.
It's probably just a error and will be resolved soon. Doesn't look professional though!

Has been down for three days now!
I've been having the same problem and was wandering if it was just me. Good to hear other people are experiencing the same. Bad for google though. I also might mention that I've been noticing this for three days and as I check that tool every day.
It seems to be pretty difficult to solve. Google is usually much faster in addressing these issues. Maybe it is permanent??!!?!?

No reply to email.
I emailed Google to ask about the issue. But they haveen't replied for two days. Don't know if their just sloppy or are trying to hide something.

I used the tool over the last few days to research phrases for a client. Subscribed to a phrase with a low CPC to get into the top 3 slots. In day one of this campaign, out of the first 14 impressions, we're averaging position 32.
Something is definitely rotten in the state of Google (sorry Hamlet).
