Content Network
A Content Network is also called a Link Farm or webdirectory. It is basically a website that accumulates a lot of links and orders it in categories. Some Content Networks are trusted by Google and have high PageRanks. It is useful to get listed on these sites. Others are disliked by Google and are said to be bad neighborhoods. Sometimes Google punishes a website for being listed on such a website.
