Delisting is the same as being banned. It is the process of removing a site from a search engines index. If your site has been delisted your website will not show up in the search results anymore. This is usually due to search engines detecting spamming or black hat SEO tactics. If you can prove this wasn’t the case, you can send an email to a search engine to get relisted.
