GoogleBot

The spider or robot Google uses to crawl your site. Google uses this bot to index your page so they can make it searchable. The higher your PageRank the faster GoogleBot will come back again to spider your site. When you want a new site to be indexed by Google you could submit it on their site, but a better and faster way is to post it on forums or directories with a high PageRank. You could also use use some of your already established sites to send the GoogleBot to your website.

If you want certain pages of your website excluded from Googles index, and thus not spider by GoogleBot, you could use a Robot.txt file to stop the spider crawling certain pages or folders.
