Internal Link

An Internal Link is a link from one page to another within the same website. Internal links are of course necessary for a sites navigation and this should be an internal links main purpose. There are many theories on how to set up a good user-friendly navigation, but describing them here would be uncalled for. One thing that is sometimes forgotten is the possibility of setting up a well thought-out internal link system to help internal PageRank distribution. Every link to a page increases it’s PR and also internal links, so it makes sense to think about this when setting up a navigation.
