KEI
KEI stand for Keyword Effectiveness Index and compares the number of search results with the number of searches done for a certain keyword or phrase. It is usually the number of searches divided by the number of results resulting in a number, the higher the better. A higher KEI simply says that a certain keyword is searched for more often and has less websites containing that keyword.
The formula above is the simplest way to calculate KEI and many other formula’s are used. But if KEI is only used to compare keywords the formula provided here is sufficient.
