Keyword Density

The Keyword density of a webpage is important for SEO, because it is the number of keywords (or phrases) compared to the total amount of words. The keyword density influences the listing of a page for certain search phrases. Optimizing a pages Keyword density is a way of onpage optimization and can increase search engine listings. It is not as effective as getting inbound links with anchor texts though. There are many different ideas about the optimal keyword density, but I believe it’s much more important to have natural text and focus on these onpage optimization tips.
